The history of humanity has been
shaped by our communication with
each other. Whether it is
civilisations existing in a state of
conflict, or different communities
living together in peace, the way
humans interact has always been
the fundamental driving force
behind our existence.
The Peacemaker Project by Anja
Goder is focusing on those
individuals that have acted,
and are still fighting, as prominent
advocates for peace in the world
during the last decades.
Through the power of photography,
Peacemaker wants to truly capture
the very essence of these
personalities and honour their lifelong
achievements based on determination,
dedication and lifelong commitment.
I have been behind the lens for
over 20 years. As the founder
of the Malta International
Photography Awards (MIPA),
I have created a platform for
many photographers to be able
to promote and share their work.
My passion for photography,
helping to eternalise and convey
positive, life changing messages,
is the main inspiration for the
Peacemaker Project. I'm convinced
that there is a shared global value
amongst all human beings - an innate
desire for peace and a better world.
This is a fundamental part of
our human nature, and the
Peacemaker Project will tap into
the essence of some of the most
recognised individuals from
around the world.
